Basset Hound Puppies

All our basset hound litters are given age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed every 2 weeks, socialized with children, adults, and other dogs, and will have passed 2 veterinarian exams. These pups are all AKC registerable with limited (pet only) registration.

Evelyn and Dio Litter

They have arrived! We were blessed with a gorgeous litter of 5 basset hounds on May 24th 2024! One tricolor girl (who will be staying with us at this point), 1 tricolor male, and 3 beautiful mahogany and white boys! Their eyes are beginning to open but are still only interested in eating and sleeping! These babies will be ready for homes July 19th. Each pup will be $1300 a piece and can be reserved with a nonrefundable $200 deposit.

Gigi

Gigi is our laid back tricolor girl. She has been with us since she was 8 weeks old. She is around 3/4 European bloodlines. Gigi has mothered one litter and done fabulous (her pups turned out so great we kept one of her females!); however, she developed a cherry eye. Even though it is a cosmetic issue at this point we have had it surgically tacked down twice and both times it has returned within a few weeks. Gigi can go to a pet-only home (limited AKC registration) for $500 or she can go to a great breeding program with breeding rights (full AKC registration for $1000.) She has always been in good health. She is in charge around here and can get a bit snippy if another dog is stealing her thunder. She loves to eat. She would do best having her own slow feeding bowl versus sharing with a furbuddy. Genetic testing with Paw Print Genetics shows clear on her basset panel, including Lafora! She gets along well with other animals but I think she would also do great without a fur buddy as she loves attention. Of note, she is still intact and would need spayed for a pet home and she is not housebroke, only doggy door trained. She is around 70 pounds so local pick up or possible meet-up up to 4 hours from us for additional fee. Thanks!

Upcoming Basset Hound Litters
